Season 8 Information - Important Dates

Regular Season Dates - 8 game-days + Playoffs - Sundays - January 8, (no game January 15),January 22, January 29, February 5, February 12, February 19, February 26, March 5, (Make-up day if needed March 15) with playoffs tentatively on March 18 &19. 
  • Registration opens to Season 7 returning players: Saturday, December 17, 2016 -- 12pm ET  (note: prior to 12pm, the year will reflect 2015 due to limitations in LeagueApps' settings)
  • Registration opens all other players: Sunday, December 18, 2016 -- 12pm ET  (note: prior to 12pm, the year will reflect 2015 due to limitations in LeagueApps' settings)
  • Game Times: Games will be played on Sundays between 1:00pm and 5:00pm
  • Captain's Meeting: Wednesday, January 4, 2017
  • Opening Party (Captain Meet & Greet + Shirt Pick-Up) - Friday, January 6, 2017
  • Mid-Season Event: TBD
  • Playoffs & Finals will tentatively be on March 18 (11am - 4pm) OR March 19 (1pm-5pm)
  • Playoffs and Closing Party with Awards - Wednesday November 9All dates are tentative and may change


Registration Info - Team and Player Structure 

  • Max Number of Teams: 16  
  • Max Number of Players Per Team: 16 - 18 (team captains are able to select their cap size during registration)
  • Max Number of Players on the Court: 12 
  • Min Number of Players to Hit Team Status: 10Note: Free agents may be assigned to teams that do not hit the player max chosen by the captain when the team was initially formed

Registration Cost

  • $45 DAY 1 - Returning player registration discounted only for Day 1 - Season 7 returning players (December 17)
  • $50 Day 2 - Open registration for new & returning players (December 18)

Players will have the chance to purchase a extra shirt (~$10) during registration.  


New This Season 

  • Minor rule updates (Details will be shared at the Captain's Meeting)
  • t-Shirt Color selection will be based on legacy team's shirt color from season 5. New teams will be able to select any available shirt color remaining.
    • Note: Legacy team is based on team name NOT individual players or captains)
