Restart SZN! Guidelines

The
Plan
The Restart Season is
only for Returning Members from last Social and Competitive Season with the
below dates reserved. The cost to participate is $20.00 USD, this registration
fee will cover all four gym sessions for the selected day.
*** Those registered
only for the cancelled and refunded second competitive league in Season 16 are
not considered returning players. ***
1.
Wednesdays
(6PM - 10pm): July 28th, August 4th, August 11th, August 18th
with the following time slots:
- 6:15pm to 7:15 pm
- 7:30pm to 8:30 pm
- 8:45pm to 9:45 pm
2.
Sundays (2PM - 6PM): August 1st, August 8th,
August 15th, and August 22nd
with the following time slots:
- 2:15pm to 3:15 pm
- 3:30pm to 4:30 pm
- 4:45pm to 5:45 pm
Registration
For insurance reasons only returning players
from
Season 16 will allowed to participate in this season. We will be
reintroducing new players in upcoming seasons. Registration will be held via
Leagueapps (
link).
All players will register as "free-agent" we
will not hosts traditional teams during this re-opening. We will adhere to
open-gym play. Players may register for
one time slot on Wednesday and
one time slot on Sunday.
No players should register for more than one
time slot per day.
Pit Crew will audit and failure to adhere to adhere
to guidelines will result in all registrations being cancelled.
New Rules and Restrictions
1.
For Open Gyms, Social League Rules will be observed.
2.
There will be decreased occupancy because of current
ventilation. Only 45 Stonewall Dodgeball participants will be inside the gym at
any given time.
3.
No spectators or additional individuals outside of Stonewall
Dodgeball will be permitted to enter the TMCT.
4.
If a headshot occurs during a game, Pit Crew on Call will remove
and disinfect the ball. The referee will give out a replacement ball to
continue gameplay.
Health
and Safety
Vaccination
PitCrew encourages all players to receive COVID-19 vaccinations in order to help protect not only fellow players but members of the community.
Mask Requirements
**applies to all players regardless of vaccination
status until further notice**
1.
Players
and other participants will be required to wear masks within the Thurgood
Marshall Center, regardless of vaccination status, masks can be removed only
when...
a.
If
the player is injured during game play and needs to remove their mask for
treatment.
b.
When
drinking or eating.
2.
If
a player refuses to wear a mask where/when it is required, Stonewall Dodgeball
will remove them from the league without refund.
Health
Communication Protocol
The Pit Crew reserves the right to update these
guidelines at any time if deemed necessary. Generally, this could be to respond
to changes in the public health situation that might require more strict
standards to protect our members and community.
Players will be responsible for communicating any
health changes that may affect Stonewall Dodgeball, the Thurgood Marshall
Center and Trust, and their team.
- Pit
Crew member will serve as a point of contact to address COVID-19 issues among
players and with the TMCT.
- Positive
COVID Submission Form (
link)
will be available for players to disclose a positive COVID-19 test result. The
Pit Crew will check these daily and inform appropriate parties of next steps.
No personal identifiable information will be collected.
- The
Pit Crew will review sign-in logs throughout the evenings to ensure that all
appropriate players and participants have signed in.
- In
the event of a positive covid-19 case:
o
The Pit Crew will notify all relevant and
affected parties and close contacts as determined by sign-in logs, games, and
refereeing schedule.
o
The Pit Crew will contact all players and
referees who were potentially exposed.
o
Players that came into contact may
continue to participate in games if...
§ They are fully vaccinated and present a negative COVID test 7 days after exposure.
OR
§
Player
have tested negative for COVID-19 in the last 14 days
AND
§
They
are not showing symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
o
Players that came into close contact with a
positive COVID-19 case are still encouraged to self-monitor for 14 days.
§
Unvaccinated
individuals that were exposed to an individual positive for covid-19 will be
required to follow CDC and DC health guidelines regarding exposure. [

§
The
Pit Crew will immediately notify the Thurgood Marshall Center and Trust. The
Pit Crew will follow DC protocol.
§
Based
on DC Health Guidance and Protocol, Stonewall Dodgeball shall try to adhere to
following cleaning schedule once Stonewall Dodgeball confirms a positive
COVID-19 case:
o
If
24 hours or less have passed, businesses should clean and disinfect the areas
at the business where the COVID-19 positive person has been.
o
If between 24 hours to 3 days have passed,
businesses only need to clean the areas where the COVID-19 positive person has
been. Disinfection is not necessary.
o
If
more than 3 days have passed, no special cleaning and disinfection of the
facility is necessary. Businesses should follow their routine cleaning and
disinfection protocols.
Player and Team
Responsibilities
- Members
are encouraged to stay home if they feel sick or suspect themselves to be sick.
- Captains
will be responsible for encouraging their players to exercise responsible
behavior when participating.
- Players
are asked to not arrive more than 15 minutes before their game.
- Wearing
a mask when required.
